Why Cash Pay?

Why Cash Pay?
Over the past decade, insurance premiums have continued to rise while offering limited benefits to both patients and healthcare providers. Patients often face high deductibles, co-pays, and monthly premiums, while medical facilities are pressured to maintain viability by increasing patient volume. This model frequently contributes to provider burnout, reduced one-on-one time between patient and provider, and lower-quality care that may require more visits and longer treatment duration to reach goals.

Cash-based physical therapy removes the insurance middleman, significantly reducing administrative burden and allowing providers to focus entirely on patient care. This approach offers consistent one-on-one treatment, greater flexibility, and access to services not typically covered by insurance—including fitness programming, wellness work, and pre-habilitation.

At Shaver Performance and Physical Therapy, every session is a minimum of 60 minutes and includes any necessary manual therapy, targeted interventions, performance training, and individualized home programming review. My goal is to provide exceptional care and long-term value through focused, high-quality treatment to keep you moving at your best for as long as possible.
